These guys feature the former guitarist of Beyond All Ends, and I think you know how much I love that band. Great prog with a whole lot of genre influences. Give it a listen if you're a fan of the genre!
Check this fucking band out. If you don't know them by now, you're already doing something wrong. Aronious is definitely a band to keep your eye on. After releasing a demo like this(which is absolutely amazing in all aspects), I can only hope they release a full length eventually that features more songs like disillusionment. I absolutely cannot wait for a follow up after a demo like this.
For fans of: anything that makes you headbang. This new stuff really gives The Black Dahlia Murder vibes. Seriously, if you haven't heard this band, then you just have to listen to this. They have a previous album entitled "The Arcanum Order" which was definitely a good release, but I find myself already enjoying this new material more.
Amazing shit. Energetic, well-written Prog Metalcore with awesome groovy/lead parts. Produced by the outstanding Karl Schuhbach (Misery Signals, Solace), Collections sounds like a more chaotic version of Misery Signals, but with the same energy like "Controller". Give these guys your "Like" on Facebook

If you've been living beneath a rock, you may not of heard of the latest deathcore band to blow up in the underground metal scene, or you're just very forgetful.. Delta happens to be that band and they definitely deserve all the popularity they have been gaining. They released an EP very early this year and it was absolutely phenomenal and they ended up taking a third place finish in one of the Duckcore Underground Metal Awards categories. As expected, the new song entitled "Savage" hit's hard from the start. If you like deathcore, you'll love this. Delta is definitely a band that will persevere in the metal scene.
You want this, trust
me. Their last album was awesome, and
this one is no different – spooky atmosphere, meaty grooves, and crushing
breakdowns. Sounds kind of like what
would happen if Delta and a good version of The Browning (sans cleans) met in a
blender. Bang your damn head.
Artist: Returning We Hear The Larks
Album: Far-Stepper/Of Wide Sea
Genre: Progressive Metal/Djent/Groove/Ambient Facebook
Tracklist
1. Prologue: Stheno; Slain by Hand of God 2. Nascence in the Caverns of Mount Olympus 3. The Corruption of the Third Sister 4. The Despairing Sea I: In Search of Solace 5. A DĂŠmon Hunted/The Flight of Perseus 6. The Despairing Sea II: The Wanderer Euryale
The vocals remind me of The Faceless. Production is not the greatest; timing seems to be off at points and the mastering isn't really present. Despite all of this, Spectrum still manages to lay down this killer track. I believe bappz posted these guys in the Cbox a while ago and it deserves to be posted here. If you enjoy groove, you'll enjoy this.

Out Of Yesteryear is, as some of you may know, if not my favorite, one of my favorite underground metal bands. My following of them is so severe you may even label me as a fan boy. And that following helped me be one of the first (maybe the first, who knows) to purchase this album and the shirt. In this album, Out Of Yesteryear has parted ways with their keyboardist and dropped the genre tag symphonic, but don't let that deter you. While losing one member, all of the other members stepped up their playing. The guitar work is technical and pretty moody atmospherically. The album has an overall gloomy feel to it. The drummer goes absolutely nuts in the song "Blood Like Mercury" during the guitar solo. His overall drumming style reminds me of a less mature Fleshgod Apocalypse. Their vocalist has stepped up his game and sounds more consistent. This album is honestly sounding like my favorite yet (I'm only on track 7 out of 9). Definitely go buy this album right now, or like them on facebook and tell your whole family about them. Even your grandma. She'll dig their sound. For fans of: Anything sexy in the metal genre. Definitely Album Of The Year contender for me. I am completely positive this will be in the top 5.
If you dig Thy Devourer, The Vile Impurity, Angelmaker, this was made for YOU! 8 strings, ridiculously fast blastbeats, deep growls, brutal breakdowns...anything else needed? My fellow countrymen really know what the heck they're doing!
No facebook or bandcamp found, only a VK link to one track...yet still, found this band from Ukraine. More into the death side but quite good to be heard. For fans of Synergic Ire, Battleship!, Viscerally Scarred.
Probably some of the
best tech deathcore to come out this year – I hear elements of Mycelia, No
Consequence, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, and Fall In Archaea. Chaotic, mathy, and groovy.
Australia, you did it again. Dropping good bands again and again and again. What´s wrong with you, Australia? Their first song, Voidwalkers, get MUCH attention on the web, and I understand this totally!
Another good find from Israel. These guys describe themselves as technical metal. Plenty of tasty riffs and some solos. Their vocal style ranges from metalcore to deathcore, with some cleans mixed in. A short but fun EP.
Jam packed brutal stuff from this guys from South London. Music to make you destroy everything around! Monstruous riffs, massive breakdowns, powerful drumming and the roaring vocals! What else can you ask for? If you're into Black Tongue, Demoraliser, Prophet, this is a must!

7. The Omen
Take all the best
elements of Make Them Suffer, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Behemoth, Nile, Dimmu
Borgir, Zyklon, and even Cattle Decapitation, and put them in a blender…and you’ll
get Sidious. Wickedly-composed symphonic
elements and intricate keys, epic atmosphere, and riffs-a-plenty, all woven
expertly over ever-present, almost Black Dahlia Murder-esque, machine-gun blast
beats. To quote Kaotoxin Record’s exec, this
is simply one of the most impressive debut EP’s you’ll hear. I happen to agree with him…in fact, I’d put
it right near Cognizance’s monstrous release earlier this year (which I
posted/raved about HERE). If you don’t believe me, check out HeavyBlog’s
raving 4/5 review RIGHT
HERE.

Posted by request. Something different from what has been posted lately, from Portugal again. Thrashy, hardcore tunes to headbang and jump all around the place.
Ben Norton is a denizen on Duckcore. With his extraordinary style, he totally deserves it. But this is, by far, his best work. Definitely a candidate for the EP Of The Year!

For those who actually listened to the whole compilation, hope you got stuck with this band the same way I did. Really stoked to here more from this guys in a full length.
One man progressive metal machine Jake Woodward has created a gorgeous soundscape that would have Paul Waggoner himself drooling. This album is more than enough to keep up with the afluent progressive guitarists of this generation. He's got a new album titled Sentient City that will be released later this year, which should be amazing. Get excited ducklings
For fans of: Between The Buried And Me, Angel Vivaldi, Scale The Summit, Chon, Jakub Zytecki.
Oh and If you enjoy it drop by their (his) facebook and give 'em (him) a like. They're (he is) barely grazing a thousand and could use some exposure.
Definitely give these guys a chance if you're a metalcore fan -- they recently
won a battle of the bands in Spain, and it shows. I hear some old As Blood Runs Black rhythm and some Viatrophy-esque fist-pumping riffs in their sound. They don’t do anything that hasn’t been done
before, but if you take the best band on Rise Records today, add talent, and get rid of the whineyness in the clean sections and most of the predictability in the song
structure, I’d imagine you’d end up with something like Against The Waves.
I meant to post this
a while ago, but never quite got around to it…that being said, shred. Fans of this will really enjoy my old post
Witch Of The Waste (preview HERE).
Wow. This comes out of nowhere. I´m not so much into Deathcore anymore, but this is a real gem! Groovy as hell, pissed-off vocals, awesome leads. I like the hardcorish feeling in some riffs. Probs to bong rips for discovering these dudes!
WTF! I stumbled across this band some days ago, and it totally blew me away. Like a jazzier version of early TDEP, or a more corish version of Ephel Duath. These dudes from Australia are totally crazy
Quite a nice discovery, this guys from Texas really know what they're doing. Crude groovy tunes that make you want to stay for more and more and more. At the end, some good proggy deathcore
