This is freakin awesome, no doubt.

Like a more "Prog Metal" version of The Contortionist or Substructure, less djenty chuggin riffs, more atmosphere, more prog, more ambient.

This is album has some serious late-2000's metalcore vibes, in a good way. I'd say it's most comparable to As Blood Runs Black's Allegiance album. Check it!

Here's an awesomely pissed off metalcore band for ya. I had the pleasure of seeing these guys kill it every night for a few days, and I can say with confidence that you do not want to miss this. All of the songs are up for free on their Facebook and I took the liberty of compiling them into a .zip for you guys (with permission from the band.) I honestly cannot think of anyone to compare them to.

This isn’t really my cup of tea, but I know a lot of you guys will like it.  Metalcore kind of in the vain of August Burns Red, but this record has a lot more feelsy hardcore influences than their previous EP.  I can hear some Frontierer in there too?

These guys from Canada are awesome. The thing that catches my eye here is the vocals, this dude has some vox. Crazy lows that punish over top of killer progressive riffage, this is a solid 3 track EP. I'm not normally a metalcore kind of guy but, with vocals this is so enjoyable. Its free on bandcamp, so if you got it. then throw it haha.

These guys are badass, another band that kinda makes me want to go to battle haha. The vocalist sounds very similar to the vocalist from The War Of 1812. He has the crazy weird high that makes your ears wanna bleed haha. The music is super solid, groovy, bouncy, with great brreakdowns at times. I know im posting between josh's and Interruptio's AOTY lists but I gotta keep the music coming.
