Another classic from my old most-played list, and one album that got me into the underground.  Shred as hell and outrageously well-composed…lot more deathcore elements than their latest release, which I prefer, but this one’s pretty sick itself.  Unfortunately that preview was the only streaming track I could find, but it’s actually my least favorite (tracks 1 & 2 probably).  Plus, they did the spacey art before it was cool...so there's that!

Some sick shit right here. Evil as fuck, really catchy and fast paced, this is for anyone that likes the death metal side of blackened death metal. I love how they perfected this genre mashing, really bringing out the melodic and tuning side of black metal but still mainly using the song structure of death metal. Give the preview a listen and I'm sure if you like this genre, you'll be impressed. The song I wanted for a preview wasn't on YouTube but check out The Hammerer (I consider it the stand out song on the album). I also dig this dudes vocals too. Give em a spin!

Fuckin Australia man, my god.  ItI is a combination of Widow the Sea’s rapid-fire attack and raw evil/brutality, along with Vale of Pnath’s shredding and technicality.  Not the least bit noodly either, and plenty of elements all you tech. deathcore junkies will really get into (see 1:00 in the preview and 2:15 in track 5).  They’re also writing new stuff right now = me stoked.

Idk how to describe this...oodles and oodles of talent.  My Hollow sounds a lot like what would happen if Gojira added a little more groove and was a little more heavy into the stompy “core”-sounding riffs, and even some sludgy parts.  Love their production too, it's murky and real-sounding but still every instrument (ESPECIALLY the bass) sounds intricate, clear and crisp.  This is really quite good, so spread it around!
