TWLB’s new EP called “Antichrist” (it was posted here a while back) reminded me about these guys. Heavy Blog Is Heavy absolutely raved about this album a long time ago (“…one of the best debuts this year”). “An Awakening” is a record I totally forgot about, and I’m really pissed about that – it’ll make its way back into my most-played list soon enough. This is a lot better than the new stuff, imo…very technical and heavy, but still extremely headbang-friendly. Get on it.
HATE. RAPE. MURDER.
ReplyDeleteThe album was released in 2009 (it's great, though. Bought it during my stay abroad in the US).
ReplyDeleteJosh, one of my favourite albums, but these guys are signed and this album was released by metalblade / rise records according to the back of my CD :P
ReplyDelete- unna
they aren't signed anymore, and i figured that since this album is like 3 years old it was okay lol
Deletei have to disagree about this being better than antichrist. i feel like you can take any riff from the ep and it is better than this album
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who don't know. I Declare War's current vocalist recorded vocals on this album.
ReplyDeletedamn, i thought he sounded familiar lol
