Shadow of the Colossus – Shadow of the Colossus (2010)

Shadow of the Colossus
Album:  Shadow of the Colossus
Genre:  Progressive Death Metal/Deathcore

Track Listing:
1. Constructing Ultimate Destruction
2. Shrine Of Worship
3. Spill Bilderberg Blood
4. Inborn Infamy
5. Serve The Death Sentence
6. Instrumental
7. Labor, The Enslaver
8. (L)(S)(D)
9. The Grove
10. The Prophecy
11. Purgatory Of Eternal Suffering

My favorite deathcore album of all time…..vocally, lyrically, musically, just everything.  This is what Aegaeon might sound like if they put more effort into lyrics and technicality.  Completely crushing, yet still intricate enough to have near-infinite replay value.  Their album dropping this year (that you can preview on their Bandcamp btw) is easily one of my most anticipated albums of 2012…cannot wait.

  1. someone is clearly a metal noob. This is a horrible choice of a deathcore album unless you got into deathcore a few years ago lol

  4. It's not a bad album. It's just....boring. Mediocre at best. I only say something cuz he compared it to Aegaeon which is absurd.

  6. Damn, Aegaeon done right. I've always loved Aegaeon's style, but their music is missing something... Thanks, Josh.

  7. ya really Shadow of the Colossus are the best deathcore band out there. I hate even using the word deathcore, but SOTC stands right next to All Shall Perish as far as deathcore goes. Infinite replay value indeed
