Twisted, atmospheric, EPIC black metal that takes elements from Deafheaven, Altar of Plagues, Gorguts, and even some Fallujah-ish sounding atmosphere.  The preview track I selected is really the most death metal-ish of the bunch.  I’ll let Pitchfork speak for me here:  “An album of massive builds, harsh climaxes, and ambitious track lengths, Beyond All Light necessitates a monstrous finale… Where other acts might break the momentum, Anagnorisis simply pile layers beneath the musical heap, with the rhythm section somehow growing ever a bit more malevolent.”
